Energy Storage / Electrical Enclosures

designer + cad drawings for integrated renewable Energy systems

Product research, design development and technical documentation for residential and commercial "power wall" hardware for energy storage systems shown here. Prototypes and products included here were completed in collaboration with Growing Energy Labs from 2008-2010 for the company's early explorations in energy storage hardware, battery housing and energy storage system prototypes. Various enclosure prototypes were successfully designed to be NEMA rated, explosion-proof, and manufacturable via sand cast aluminum or extruded aluminum manufacturing.

Various renewable energy planning proposals and prototypes have been demonstrated in such places as Green Expo 2010 in San Francisco, CA and the City of Anaheim. The distributed energy storage solutions were also installed for pilot research and development projects with municipalities, public utilities and community college affiliates such as: Los Angeles Dept. of Water and Power (LADWP), Southern California Edison (SCE), Los Angeles Community College District (LADWP), Los Angeles Trade Tech, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), and more.
